Mwandishi mkongwe wa vitabu toka nchini Nigeria. Prof. Chinua Achebe amefariki dunia akiwa nyumbani kwake huko nchini Marekani alipokuwa akiishi akifundisha Brown University .
Prof. Chinua Achebe ambaye amefariki akiwa na miaka 82 inasemekana hivi karibuni amekuwa akihudhuria hospitali mara kwa mara kutokana na maradhi yaliyokuwa yakimsumbua ila hajawekwa wazi.
Vitabu alivyowahi kuandika ni Things Fall Apart, A Man of the People, Arrow of God, No Longer at Ease na Anthills of the Savannah.
